Designed for hills, mountains and mud, the MUDTALON provides excellent grip on any terrain you encounter. Claw-like 8mm lugs dig through soft mud but also cling to wet rock for reliable grip and traction. The unique goat hoof shape of the lugs releases mud just as quickly even when you push off, leaving you feeling light and in control.

The MUDTALON benefits from our lightest midsole foam to date: POWERFLOW PRO. Compared to the MUDTALON SPEED, the MUDTALON has a slightly thicker midsole to provide more comfort and bounce over long distances. Despite the cushioning, the shoe's midsole is designed so that you can still feel and respond to the ground beneath you - which is especially important when running in hills and mountains.

The MUDTALON's all-new anatomical shape hugs the natural contours of your foot, locking in at the heel and expanding at the toes for a secure, comfortable feel. We have integrated two new specific fits for MUDTALON – Precision Fit and Wide Fit. The biggest difference between the two fits is the width at the toe box, with the Wide fit being wider:

- Choose Precision Fit if you have narrow feet or prefer a tighter, more secure feel. It allows for greater maneuverability and agility when running and contouring over steep or difficult terrain.

- Choose Wide Fit if you have wider feet or prefer an extra comfortable feel with more room for your toes. It provides greater comfort when running long distances when toes often swell.

A secure, secure feeling at the heel is achieved with a MET-CRADLE. Thick overlay strips connect your midfoot to your heel, which draws inward when you tighten the laces. Underfoot, a flexible ROCK-PLATE protects your feet from sharp stones and tree roots.

The robust upper material of the MUDTALON is made of ballistic nylon. This strong and robust material protects against wear and tear caused by vegetation and stones in the hills and mountains.
